Here’s how it will flow:

Draft Notes — small, spoiler-safe lines lifted straight from scenes.
Field Notes — photos from research days: boats, porches, tides, and whatever else insists on being noticed.

NC Roots — the places and histories shaping this story.

And because no process is ever just one thing, expect a smattering (not a plethora) of non-spammy, non-sponsored bits and bobs that make me hit save, forward, love, put it in the cart, text, screenshot, bookmark, I must attempt to bake that, cook that, plant that seed and grow that, and/or hibernate in a very specific rabbit hole until I need a shovel to reemerge?
